Splynx
Connect Splynx so the AI agent knows who’s calling, reads their balance and open invoices live, and opens tickets in Splynx for your team.
- Plan
- Telco Ops Bundle (Splynx is part of its Telecom Connector Pack)
- You need
- Your Splynx address, and an API key and its secret
- Where
- Build > Apps > Splynx
Before you start
Create an API key in Splynx, under Administration > Splynx > API keys. Copy its secret when you create it: Splynx shows it only once. Leave Unsecure access off; Crulon signs every request and never uses it.
Give the key permission to read:
- Customers, with their internet services and billing details.
- Finance invoices, for the balance.
- Support tickets, and to create and update them if you plan to turn on ticket push.
Without access to internet services, only services that are online come across, and offline ones are never removed.
Connect Splynx
Install the App
In Crulon, open Build > Apps, choose Splynx and select Install Splynx.
Add your Splynx details
Under Connector setup, fill in:
- Splynx URL: the address you sign in to Splynx at, with nothing after it, for example
https://yourcompany.splynx.app. It must start withhttps. - API key: from the Key column in Splynx.
- API secret: the secret you copied when you created the key.
Connect
Select Connect. Crulon checks that the key can sign in and read your customers. You can check again at any time with Test connection under Connection health.
Set the server timezone
Under Connector settings, set Server timezone to the timezone your Splynx server’s clock uses, then select Save settings. Crulon uses it to read the times Splynx sends. It starts as your workspace’s timezone.
What comes across
Crulon copies your Splynx customers, in every status, every hour by default. Each sync re-reads every customer in full. Change how often under Sync cadence, from every 15 minutes to daily, or select Run full sync to sync now.
| In Splynx | In Crulon |
|---|---|
| A customer | A contact, with their name, email, city, state and phone numbers, marked Mobile or Work where Splynx says so |
| Status | Active, pending, suspended, inactive or cancelled. Change how Splynx’s statuses map under Status mapping |
| Blocked | Shown as past due |
| Each active internet service | An asset named after the service, online or offline from its current session, with its MAC and IP address |
| Network sites | The site that serves each customer, used to match outages |
Street addresses, postal codes, invoices and texting consent aren’t copied.
What the agent can do on a call
Attach these tools to your agent under Business Tools:
- Look up customer finds the account from the number the caller rings from, using the copy in Crulon.
- Check balance and billing reads the account from Splynx as the caller asks: what’s due across unpaid invoices, up to five open invoices, any credit, and whether autopay is on. Crulon doesn’t keep a copy of the balance, so if Splynx doesn’t answer, the agent tells the caller it can’t read it right now.
- Create ticket opens a ticket for the caller’s problem.
Tickets in Splynx
Ticket push is off until you turn it on in the Ticket sync card:
- Create a provider ticket when one is created here creates each ticket in Splynx, with the details as its first message. Choose the queue under Which queue should these tickets land in?; pick the one your team watches.
- Close the provider’s ticket when this one closes closes it in Splynx too, using your Splynx ticket status that’s marked as closed.
- Create a ticket at the end of every call files a Call Summary ticket after each answered call from a Splynx customer, with the summary, the caller and how long it took.
Splynx takes tickets without a customer, so callers who aren’t customers get a ticket too. Tickets are created hidden from the customer. Comments and edits aren’t sent, only new tickets and closures.
Crulon doesn’t change customers or their services in Splynx.
Restarting equipment
Splynx shows whether each internet service is online, but checking the equipment itself or restarting it needs an equipment App: UISP, Cambium cnMaestro or Nokia Corteca. Install just one, as Splynx doesn’t tell Crulon who made each device. TP-Link TAUC can’t reach equipment from Splynx.
If something goes wrong
The key or secret is wrong, or the key was deleted in Splynx. Create a new key and enter it again under Connector setup.
The key can sign in but can’t read customers. Give it the permissions under Before you start.
Check that the address is right, starts with https and has nothing after the domain, and that Splynx is up.
Something in front of your Splynx instance is turning Crulon away. Ask whoever runs your network to allow automated API clients for that address.
Set Server timezone under Connector settings to the timezone your Splynx server uses.
Turn off Scheduled sync to stop copying straight away; nothing already copied is deleted. Turn off ticket push in the Ticket sync card too. To remove the App completely, email support@crulon.ai.
