IntegrationsISP equipment

UISP

Connect UISP so the AI agent can check a caller’s Ubiquiti equipment, read its signal and restart it.

Build > Apps > UISP

Read How equipment Apps work first: UISP checks and restarts equipment that your billing App brings into Crulon.

Connect UISP

  1. In UISP, create an API token under Settings > Users > API tokens. Give it write access: restarting a device needs it.
  2. In Crulon, open Build > Apps, choose UISP and install it.
  3. Under Device provider setup, enter your UISP controller’s address, with nothing after it, and the API token.

Crulon tests the connection by reading your devices.

Finding a device

UISP finds each device by its MAC address, from your billing App. It serves Ubiquiti equipment to start.

What status shows

Whether the device is online, its name, model, type, firmware, site, IP address, uptime, when it was last seen, signal strength, and CPU and memory use. For ONUs it also shows receive and transmit power.

Restarting

UISP accepts the restart, the device drops offline and usually comes back within a minute or two. UISP can keep showing the device as active for a minute or more after a restart, so check its uptime after about two minutes to be sure it restarted.
