What Crulon tells you about, where it shows, and how to choose what you get by email.
Crulon tells you about missed calls, voicemails, texts and mentions in the notification bell, and by email if you choose. Each person sets their own.

What you’re told about
| Notification | When | Who gets it |
|---|---|---|
| Missed call | A call rang you and nobody answered, or the caller hung up | Each person it rang |
| Voicemail | A caller left a message | The people on the number that was called. It replaces their missed-call notification |
| New message | A customer texted | The thread’s assignee, or the people on that number when no one is assigned |
| Mention | Someone @mentioned you in an internal note | You |
| Scheduled text didn’t send | A text you scheduled failed, with the reason | You |
| Set to Away | You missed several calls in a row from a call queue | You |
| Second speaker not working | Your secondary ringer stopped working | You |
| AI minutes | You’ve used 80% of your AI minutes, they’re used up, your credits are low, or your AI agents have paused | People who can see billing |
| Emergency call | Someone in the workspace called 911 | People with the Receive workspace alerts permission |
When nobody is on a number, its voicemail and text notifications go to the workspace owners.
The bell
The bell shows how many notifications you haven’t read. Open it to see them, sorted into Calls, Messages and System.
- Select a notification to open the call or conversation. Opening it there marks it read too.
- Call back on a missed call or voicemail calls them straight away.
- Mark all read clears them. View all notifications opens your full history.
Choose what you get
Open Settings > Notifications, or the gear in the bell. Your choices affect only you.
| Row | Covers | In Crulon | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Calls | Missed calls and voicemails on your numbers | On | Off to start |
| Messages | New texts, @mentions and scheduled texts that didn’t send | On | Not available |
| Workspace alerts | Emergency calls, AI minutes and failed workspace emails | On | On |
| Jobs & exports | When an import or export you started finishes | On | On |
Emergency calls always show in Crulon for people with the Receive workspace alerts permission, which Workspace Admins and Managers have to start. The Set to Away and second-speaker notices can’t be turned off.
Missed-call and voicemail emails include a link to the call. Voicemail emails link to the message rather than attaching it.
Workspace emails
In Settings > General, Who we email sets the addresses some emails go to, as well as members:
- Billing: payment problems and plan changes go to the billing email, set in Plans and billing.
- Alerts: up to 10 extra addresses for workspace alerts, such as a shared mailbox.
- AI call summaries: turn on Email a summary after AI-handled calls to send a summary of each call the AI agent took part in to up to 10 addresses.
On your computer
- Incoming calls: when Crulon is in a background tab and you’ve allowed notifications, an incoming call shows a notification on your computer. The tab’s title shows Incoming call too.
- New texts and mentions: a short message appears in Crulon and the message tone plays, unless you’re already in Conversations.
- Sounds: choose your ringtone and message tone in Settings > Audio. Choose None to silence the message tone.
Crulon doesn’t send notifications to your phone. The mobile app is coming soon.
If something goes wrong
New texts go to the thread’s assignee, or to the people on that number. Check you’re a member of the number in Settings > Phone numbers, and that Messages is on in your settings.
Turn on Calls > Email in Settings > Notifications. It’s off to start.
Allow notifications for Crulon in your browser’s site settings. Crulon asks when you set yourself Available.
Give their role the Receive workspace alerts permission, or add their address under Who we email > Alerts.
