Your workspace’s name, time zone, country and emergency address, who Crulon emails, and your own profile, calling defaults and password.

Settings > General holds the details that apply to the whole workspace. Your own details are under Your account.

Workspace

  • Workspace name: what your team sees, such as “Acme Plumbing”.
  • Timezone: used for times across Crulon, call summary emails, outbound calling hours when a person’s own time zone isn’t known, and the time your AI agents say it is, unless an agent has its own. Call Flow schedules keep their own time zone. Call charts count days in UTC, and scheduled texts use your browser’s time zone.

Make changes, then select Save changes in the bar at the bottom.

Workspace country

Where your business operates, chosen when the workspace was created. It isn’t your billing address and doesn’t limit who you can call, but it decides what’s available:

CountryPlansNumbers from CrulonTextingTexting registration
United StatesStarter, Pro, ScaleLocal and toll-freeYesLocal and toll-free
CanadaStarter, Pro, ScaleLocal and toll-freeYesToll-free
Australia, New ZealandScaleNo: use your own carrierNo

The country can’t be changed in the app, because it affects numbers you already own. To change it, email support@crulon.ai.

Emergency address

In the US and Canada, the Emergency address is sent with every 911 call made from a Crulon number, wherever the caller is. Set it as soon as you have numbers. See Emergency calls.

  1. In Settings > General, under Emergency address, select Add address.
  2. Enter the street, apartment or suite, city, state or province, and postal code.
  3. Select Save address. Crulon registers it with the carrier straight away.
StatusWhat it means
Not set upNo address yet
Being verifiedNot confirmed yet
VerifiedRegistered: 911 calls go to your local emergency centre
Couldn’t be verifiedThe carrier didn’t accept it. Check it and select Retry verification

Until it’s verified, 911 calls still go through, to a national emergency centre instead of your local one. A dispatcher who calls back reaches your main number and your usual call handling, not the person who called.

The form opens empty each time: enter the full address whenever you change it. Changing the emergency address needs the Manage Voice Infrastructure permission, which Workspace Admins have. On your own carrier, and in Australia and New Zealand, emergency calling is your carrier’s; see Bring your own carrier.

Who we email

Sets where workspace emails go. See Notifications.

  • Billing: the billing email, changed in Plans and billing.
  • Alerts: up to 10 extra addresses for workspace alerts.
  • AI call summaries: a summary of each call the AI agent took part in, to up to 10 addresses.

Profile

  • Email is also how you sign in. A change applies straight away, without a confirmation email, so type it carefully.
  • Default outbound number: the number people see when you call. It has to be one you’re a member of that can make calls.
  • Default SMS sender: the number your texts come from. If you don’t choose one, your default outbound number is used when it can text.

If a default stops being valid, for example you’re removed from that number, it’s cleared and you choose a number each time.

Password

At least 8 characters, with at least one letter and one symbol, such as ! or #. It can’t be a common password or too close to your name or email. Crulon doesn’t have two-step sign-in.
